Mara Jade Harness Back Piece

This sale is for a cast urethane plastic back piece for the Mara Jade harness. It has been sanded, primered, and painted metallic silver.

I recommend using E600 or Barge to glue the leather straps onto the plastic. Clamp it firmly (with padding to protect the paint from being damaged by the clamps), and allow the glue to cure overnight. When I first started wearing my Mara costume, I found that the harness piece had a tendency to stick to my jumpsuit when the jumpsuit's pleather got warm. To resolve this issue, I found that it helps to cover the back of the plastic with the fuzzy side of black velcro. I used the stick-on industrial strength velcro, and it has lasted for years! It's more comfortable with the fuzzy surface, and slides well against the fabric of my jumpsuit.

The photos shown in this sale are not of the same piece which would be shipped to you. They are examples, so I won't have to take pictures of the same thing over and over again! The resin piece I ship will be cast from the same mold, and will look identical save for any natural variations in the casting and painting process. I have also included a photo of my Mara costume to show the sizing of the harness.

The harness piece will be shipped in a small box if it is ordered alone. If it is ordered with other items from my shop, I can combine shipping and refund any extra shipping costs that were charged.
