Darth Talon Tattoo Stencil Patterns
This sale is for 4 sheets of stencil design masters for Darth Talon's tattoo patterns.
These patterns are printed on lightweight 11x17 inch copy paper. They are not meant to be used as stencils themselves, but are meant to be masters that can be traced onto a more sturdy stencil material of your choice. Since it's fairly impossible to transfer a rounded design perfectly onto a flat piece of paper, I broke the larger designs into more manageable pieces for transfer onto the paper. They are printed at exactly the same size that was drawn on my body cast. If you need to resize the patterns, it should be pretty easy to photocopy them at a different size percentage.
The patterns will be rolled up and shipped in a 15 inch poster tube so there won't be a problem with fold lines in the paper. If you are ordering the patterns along with a lekku headpiece, I can ship them together to save on shipping costs. I will still roll the paper into a poster tube to protect them during shipping, but will place the tube in the lekku box.
This is how I made the patterns: First, I drew the designs on a body cast using a variety of comic art images as source material. As most comic fans know, the artwork can change from one panel or source to the next, so I tried to find a good balance between the various versions of the tattoo patterns. I included pictures of my body cast above to show how the designs are proportioned and placed. (Ordinarily I would have covered the body cast with tape first and drawn the designs on the tape to keep the body cast clean... but I was feeling silly and wanted to draw the designs on the body cast, so it has permanent Sithly decorations now!) Once I was happy with the designs, I covered the drawings with tape, traced the patterns onto the tape, and then pulled the tape off my body cast and transferred the designs to paper. In order to improve the symmetry of the designs, I chose the side that came out best on each pattern and mirrored it to get a perfectly symmetrical design on each side. Once the designs were outlined on good paper, I filled them in with Sharpie and then headed off to the FedEx store to make big copies!
At this time I am only offering the torso patterns. I do not yet have patterns for the face, lekku, or thigh designs.
