This sale page is for a PREORDER offering of Madam Garsa Fwip's distinctive lekku style.

By request, this is an advance offering for a headpiece style that DOES NOT EXIST in my lekku mold collection yet. I am setting up this page for the people who want to pre-order this style and get on my work list now, rather than waiting until the mold is finished. So far I have stripped all the clay from my previous sculpture off my lekku sculpting stand, reshaped the metal frame to match Garsa's lekku shape as closely as possible, and I am currently working on the clay sculpture for this style. Once I have the clay in the right shape I will need time to give the whole sculpture a skin texture, make a mold of the sculpture, figure out the correct silicone measurements for the size of the headpiece, and find the best expanding foam process to properly support that top curve of the lekku before I can start shipping headpieces. I will not know how closely I can match Madam Garsa's lekku until I finish the whole process and see the final result. I make no guarantees for accuracy beyond my promise that I will get it as close as I can, as quickly as I can.

- Match the top curve and abrupt bend of the lekku as closely as possible.

- Add the ridge that goes down the back of each lekku.

- Aim for a moderate curve at the bottom of the lekku. In some scenes the lekku hang down in the back with only a very slight outward curve at the bottom. In others she has a very dramatic outward curve. I am planning to give my sculpture a curve that is mid-range between them. The TV show lekku hold that strong curve because they are made out of foam latex, and I suspect they have a wire core inside holding them in that shape. Silicone won't hold that extreme curve without wagging about like a very happy dog's tail each time a person moves, and it will most likely sag under its own weight, so I will seek to find a reasonable balance between the two. (I do NOT recommend putting a wire inside the silicone. There is too much risk of the silicone being torn or punctured, and the wire would be very visible if it shifted inside and pressed against the silicone.)

- I am still debating the scars. Garsa Fwip has scars on her body and appears to have some on her lekku as well, though the ones on the lekku are small and not as visible. I may add some hints of them before casting the headpiece. Undecided so far!

- I will include a pair of matching ear cones with each headpiece. I know Garsa Fwip does not have visible ear cones, but including a pair will allow costumers the flexibility of using their Garsa headpiece for other Twi'lek characters if they wish to do so.

Color Options:

While this mold is intended to match Garsa Fwip and her flesh tone lekku, the mold can be used to make lekku in any color if you wish to use this lekku style for another character.  Add-On decorations may be included in the order.
