Jedi Dress

I am 5'7" and I was around 170 pounds when I made this costume.

I made this costume for Celebration Orlando and only wore it that one time. It was made from linen, so it's a bit heavy but it was amazingly comfortable in the Florida heat! The fabric breathed wonderfully and never got hot.

Included:

- Linen dress. There is an invisible zipper in the back. I felt that I made the neckline opening too large but by the time I realized that, it was too late to make changes. The hazards of making a last-minute costume for a con! The seams are serged.

- Linen tabards. There are small snaps in the tabards and the shoulders of the dress to hold them in place. I wiped out JoAnns's supply of dark brown binding tape three times while I was making this outfit! :-D

- Linen obi. For some reason I have two obi pieces... I can't remember if I was unhappy with the results or maybe the size, but apparently I made a new one! I will include both of them.

- I don't think I have the arm covers anymore, but I will include them if I can find them. They were just a pair of brown trouser socks! I cut off the toes, cut a hole for my thumb near the edge of the top band that is supposed to go around the calves, and used them to cover my forearms so I would only have to paint my fingers. Made life a bit easier!
